WRITING

The first book I remember falling in love with was L. M. Montgomery's ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. Set in Canada, where I was raised, Green Gables captured my heart and Anne (with an 'e') had as much of a vivid imagination as I did - and still have. Later, I devoured nearly every book by Roald Dahl. At probably an inappropriate age (sorry Mum and Dad) I delved into the SWEET VALLEY HIGH series. Then sunk under the duvet speed-reading the POINT HORROR books. Enjoying the adrenaline rush of the instilled fear from the page, I needed more. Stephen King's MISERY.

Now, I still read widely, which I think is probably the best way to learn the craft of writing.

Read. Read. Read.

Over the years, I have worked as a copywriter, screenplay editor and am currently working on my first fiction novel - learning and improving my skills by attending workshops, writing groups, events and literary festivals. I am also trained in High-Impact Business Writing.

Whether you're promoting a new product, engaging with your customers and/or trying to win more bids, if you need help to make your script 'sing' let me know and I'll be happy to put on my editor hat for your project.
